Gladkov reported a downed drone in the Belgorod region

The Russian air defense system (AD) shot down an aircraft-type drone in the Belgorod region. This was announced by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“On the border of the Belgorod region and the Yakovlevsky district, our air defense system worked, an aircraft-type UAV was shot down. According to preliminary data, no victims. Operational services are clarifying the consequences on the ground,” wrote he is in his Telegram channel.
Earlier today, Gladkov reported more than 40 arrivals through the territory of the Belgorod region from Ukraine. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Krasnoyaruzhsky district near the village of Popovka with the help of four kamikaze drones. As a result of enemy attacks, no one was injured, the governor said.
On June 14, the Armed Forces of Ukraine dropped an explosive device and five grenades from drones in the Belgorod region. Four more explosive devices were dropped from drones in the Grayvoron urban district, and in the Shebekinsky district, the Armed Forces of Ukraine dropped 3 grenades from drones. No one was hurt in any of the villages.
Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin at a plenary meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) allowed the creation of a “cordon sanitaire” in the event that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to attack Russian territories. In his opinion, Kyiv’s actions are an attempt to provoke Moscow into “reciprocal serious, powerful actions.”
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. On June 6, the press service of United Russia, citing Gladkov reportedthat almost 60,000 people were evacuated from the shelled territories.
