Gladkov denied the penetration of a new group of saboteurs into the Belgorod region

The settlements of Bogun-gorodok, Lozovaya Rudka and Tsapovka in the Borisovsky district of the Belgorod region were shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but there was no penetration of a new group of saboteurs. About it informed Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

“Reports are being received in the Borisovsky district: the village of Bogun-Gorodok, the farm Lozovaya Rudka and the village of Tsapovka. According to our information, there was shelling from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were arrivals. But none of the civilians were hurt, there were no injuries. Some Telegram channels are starting to interpret this information as a DRG call and trying to panic people. There was no entry. The FSB, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defense do not confirm this information,” the statement said.

Earlier, a number of Telegram channels reported that saboteurs tried to cross the border with Russia near the village of Bogun-Gorodok, but the attack was repelled.

On May 22, after the shelling of the Kozinka border checkpoint, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the territory of the Grayvoron district of the Belgorod region. As a result, 12 people were injured. Due to the penetration of saboteurs in the Belgorod region, a counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced. Today, May 23, the Ministry of Defense reportedthat a group of saboteurs was blocked and defeated. As a result, more than 70 saboteurs, four combat armored vehicles and five pickup trucks were destroyed.

After the attack by saboteurs in the Belgorod region, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia also opened a criminal case under six articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – on the fact of a terrorist act, encroachment on the life of law enforcement officers, attempted murder, deliberate destruction or damage to property, illegal trafficking in weapons and explosives .
