Gladkov announced two victims after the shelling of Novaya Tavolzhanka

As a result of the shelling of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky urban district, two people were injured. About it informed Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“One man has a shrapnel wound to the thigh, the second has a contusion. Now they are being taken out on an armored car to the city hospital No. 2,” the head of the region said. The shelling was carried out by cannon artillery, the arrival of 40 shells was recorded. Seven houses, outbuildings and a car were damaged in the village.

In Shebekino, a shell hit one of the industrial enterprises, which started a fire. Calculations have already left for the place to eliminate it. Also in the city, apartments in two apartment buildings caught fire. The firefighters managed to put out the fire.

Gladkov noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to shell the settlements of the Belgorod region. June 1 Ukrainian side released in the Shebekinsky urban district, a record 850 shells. The number of injured has risen to 16.

Earlier June 2 Gladkov toldthat as a result of the shelling of the road in the Shebekinsky district, fragments of shells hit cars passing by. There were two women in one of them, they died on the spot from their injuries. In the second car, two men were injured, their condition is serious.

Yesterday, June 1, Gladkov suggested that in the event of an “urgent evacuation” of residents, armored vehicles should be used. Due to the ongoing attacks, the school year ended ahead of schedule and exams were also postponed. Today, the regional government suspended the movement of suburban trains.

Now in the Belgorod region there is a “yellow” level of terrorist danger, as well as a “medium response” mode.

In early February, President Vladimir Putin called on the Defense Ministry to prevent shelling of Russia’s border regions. He also repeatedly pointed out that the response to Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory would be harsh.
