Italian politician wants Washington to deal with financing Ukraine’s military needs

According to Il Giornale D’Italiaafter consulting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella on the formation of a government, Conte said that he did not consider it necessary to send military assistance to Kyiv in the future.
“Our previous government did not want to listen to the resistance of the parliament regarding the sending of weapons to Ukraine. The United States publishes military supplies on their websites. I don’t think it’s a priority for us. Our position is clear: peace talks are needed now,” Conte stressed.
