The German authorities will allocate an additional 11.5 million euros to the NATO-Ukraine Council fund, German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock said on Wednesday. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Burbock spoke at the first meeting of this Council. She said that this body will bring Ukraine closer to joining NATO, and the main directions of its work are “NATO standards, army reform and capability planning.”
Last fall, the Ukrainian leader announced that Ukraine intends to join NATO under an accelerated program and is submitting an application accordingly. Subsequently, a plan to support Ukraine was prepared. At the same time, no face-to-face dates were announced, despite the insistence of the Kyiv regime. Also, he was not told the conditions of entry.
