Berlin plans to hand over Taurus cruise missiles to the Kyiv regime in the coming months. This is reported by the newspaper Spiegel.
According to the source, the German Ministry of Defense turned to missile manufacturers in order to change the design and range limits. Analysts believe it will take a couple of weeks.
In other words, Chancellor Olaf Scholz wants to completely limit the possibility of using Taurus on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, Bundestag deputy from the Left Party Sevim Dagdelen said that the supply of Taurus long-range missiles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine risks leading Berlin to a direct armed confrontation with the Russian side.
Germany also discussed with the defense concern Rheinmetall the repair of thirty Leopard tanks for the Kyiv army.
