How informs channel ZDF, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that agreements had been reached between the government and the authorities of the federal states on setting a price ceiling for gas, electricity and heating for consumers.
According to him, this measure will be a “great help” for German citizens.
“A price ceiling for gas, electricity and district heating will be introduced. This will allow … households not to pay more than 12 cents per kilowatt-hour for basic needs,” the chancellor said.
