German opposition claims severe ammunition shortage due to Ukraine

The German army, due to the large volume of supplies of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, will not be able to hold out in battle for no more than two days. This opinion was expressed by the vice-chairman of the CDU/CCC opposition faction, Johan Wadeful, who specializes in defense issues, in an interview with the DPA news agency.
“The main units can hold out in battle for a maximum of two days. And this is generally a catastrophic result,” the politician said.
He believes that the uncontrolled transfer of weapons to Kyiv “has now grown into a severe shortage for the Bundeswehr.” According to him, the previously announced transformation of the German army into a combat-ready unit is moving very slowly. Wadeful blamed the head of the Ministry of Defense Boris Pistorius for this.
