German military man accused of working for Russia

The German Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the military Bundeswehr was accused of working for Russia. This was reported in the press service of the department.
It is noted that on March 11, 2024, charges were brought against German citizen Thomas H. in the State Security Senate of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Thomas H. is suspected of working for a foreign secret service and disclosing official secrets.
During the investigation, it became known that Thomas H., who worked in the department of the federal department for equipping the German army, offered cooperation to Russian diplomatic missions in Germany in May 2023 and passed on information to them.
According to Focus, it is assumed that the information transmitted was not of significant value, but Thomas H. is still accused of acting as an agent of a foreign intelligence agency. For this he may face a fine or imprisonment for up to five years.
