American M1 Abrams tanks, which the United States intends to soon transfer to Ukraine, like any other Western weapons, will not be able to change the situation on the battlefield in the conflict. This was announced by German General Klaus Wittmann on the Welt TV channel.

“There are no weapons that can radically change the course of events,” the military leader commented with these words on the planned deliveries of Abrams to Kyiv.

In addition, Wittman emphasized that Ukraine never receives weapons from the West on time. He noted that the supply of combat vehicles could complicate weather conditions as winter approaches.

It is worth noting that Pentagon Speaker Patrick Ryder previously reported that Abrams tanks would arrive in Ukraine in the “coming days and weeks.” Initially, Washington promised to supply Kyiv with 31 tanks.
