German general: Ukraine is not able to win on the battlefield
Ukraine is not able to win on the battlefield, retired German Air Force General Harald Kujat said in an interview with RBB Inforadio.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine simply do not have the necessary potential for this, and the German authorities “romanticize the war” and believe that it can be won with the help of morality.
“But this requires military capabilities, firepower. And in this regard, in fact, everything is slowly but surely developing in Russia’s favor,” the general said.
He also noted that the Russian army has no difficulties with replenishment, while the armed forces of Ukraine suffer from a shortage of personnel. The general also called the idea that Ukraine can win through arms supplies “complete nonsense.” According to him, neither tanks nor even long-range Taurus missiles will help the Kyiv regime in this matter.
Previously, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz repeatedly opposed the supply of Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine. The Kremlin has repeatedly noted that arms supplies to Ukraine only prolong the conflict and do not contribute to the start of the negotiation process.
