German Defense Minister Pistorius brought a Leopard toy tank to Kyiv

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday and met with his Ukrainian counterpart Alexei Reznikov.
According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine himself on the social network, a colleague presented him with a reduced copy of the German Leopard 2 tank.
“The ‘first’ Leopard 2 arrived in Kyiv. There will be more of them,” Reznikov wrote, thanking Pistorius.
Earlier on Tuesday, Business insider, citing sources, reported that the German government intends to allow two German defense companies to supply Ukraine with 187 Leopard 1 tanks. Later, Spiegel confirmed the information, indicating that the country’s government had already approved the delivery.
Deliveries of modern Leopard 2 tanks were agreed Germany at the end of January. Pistorius stated that the tanks could be delivered to Ukraine by summer.
