German Defense Minister explained the refusal to supply tanks to Kyiv

German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht explained why Germany refuses to send modern tanks to Ukraine, which Kyiv urgently demands.
“Until now, no other country has sent Western-style battle tanks,” she said in an interview with the Funke editorial team, commenting on arms supplies to Ukraine.
Lambrecht added that Germany will not take single steps and intends to coordinate its military assistance to Kyiv with partners.
Earlier, the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection reported that the total cost of military products supplied to Ukraine today is €686 million. At the same time, Kyiv received such modern weapons as Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers, MARS IRIS-T air defense, Dingo armored vehicles.
