How informs SRF portal, Chairman of the German Military-Political Society Ralf Thiele skeptically assessed the quality of Leopard 1 tanks supplied to Ukraine.
According to the expert, all these combat vehicles have long since become “scrap metal.” To return them to “combat form”, modernization is required.
“This is old equipment that needs to be used correctly in order for it to be useful… Otherwise, it will very quickly become scrap metal in Ukraine,” Thiele said.
