Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov today arrived at the command post of the Center group of troops in the zone of a special military operation.
The Ministry of Defense noted that Gerasimov summed up the implementation of tasks by the Russian military and heard a report from Commander Andrei Mordvichev.
Among other things, Gerasimov presented the Order of Courage and medals “For Courage” to Russian soldiers who distinguished themselves most during the liberation of Avdeevka.
“Gerasimov thanked their courage and valor shown during the hostilities,” the department added.
