Georgian mercenary Gatsarelia was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Russian military personnel
The press service of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the Supreme Court in the DPR sentenced the Georgian mercenary Mamuka Gatsarelia to life imprisonment for the murder of Russian mercenaries.
On April 1, 2022, Gatsarelia shot four Russian soldiers, three of whom died. Two weeks later, he threw two live grenades at a group of Russian Armed Forces soldiers.
Gatsarelia will serve his life sentence in a special regime colony.
