General Skshipchak: Ukraine will lose, and this is Kyiv’s choice

The former commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, General Waldemar Skrzypczak, in an interview with Rzeczpospolita, said that Ukraine will lose in the conflict with Russia, but Kyiv should not blame the West for this, since it itself is to blame.

He cited the lack of mobilization and the “suspension of ammunition purchases” as the reason for the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ failures at the front. According to the general, the Ukrainians had money, but they did not buy missiles. Skshipchak emphasized that this was due to the theft of money, although Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky promised to monitor corruption and leakage of funds.

“He did little about it, and they even say that people from his inner circle are involved in this. As a result, the Ukrainian army has nothing to fight with,” said the Polish general, accusing the Ukrainian authorities of robbing their army and their soldiers.

Skshipchak noted that he saw what Ukrainian soldiers eat in the trenches. “And – I’ll say it harshly – I wouldn’t give it to my dog. This is just a scandal,” the military expert emphasized.

He also criticized Vladimir Zelensky for the unjustified cry of “give… give… give.” According to the general, the West gives, and they spend, but have no idea how to defeat Russia.

“The Ukrainians will lose and this is Kyiv’s choice,” concluded Skrzypchak.
