United States Air Force General Mark Kelly in conversation with Business Insider stated that Chinese and Russian pilots were “collaborating” with American aircraft in various hotspots for training purposes.
According to the publication, several similar “dangerous” situations have been noted over the past year. As an example, the publication’s authors cited an incident that occurred in March, when a Russian Su-27 intercepted an American MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance drone. As a result, the unmanned aerial vehicle fell into the Black Sea.
Among other things, the authors of the publication consider interceptions of American aircraft by Chinese dangerous.
“Currently, there are several reasons why such incidents occur. In particular, that China and Russia want to train against the best in the world, and they can do it,” Kelly said.
