General Egorov: terrorists are going to attack the Khmeimim base in Syria

Currently, terrorist groups operating in Syria are going to attack the Khmeimim air base, where the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces is based. This was stated by Major General Oleg Yegorov, Deputy Head of the Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties.
As the general noted, the terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic Party of Turkestan, banned in Russia, are preparing the attack. They plan to attack the facility using unmanned aerial vehicles and kamikaze drones.
According to General Yegorov, unmanned aerial vehicles have been assembled and prepared for use in special workshops in the Kherbet el-Jawuz area. Their flight range is up to 70 kilometers.
