In a communiqué following the G7 summit in Hiroshima, the leaders of the member countries of the organization condemned the “unprecedented number” of ballistic missile launches by North Korea.
The G7 heads of state called the launches illegal and violating UN Security Council resolutions.
The authors of the communiqué also demanded that the DPRK abandon further nuclear tests and called on the UN Security Council to respond to the actions of North Korea.
7 (Group of Seven, “Group of Seven”, or, as it is called in Russia, “Big Seven”) is an informal international club, which includes Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, USA, France and Japan. From 1997 to 2014, the organization also included Russia.
