Western countries will begin to intensively supply Ukraine with ammunition by mid-2024. This is reported by retired British General Richard Barrons, who headed NATO Joint Forces Command from 2013 to 2016, in an article for the publication Financial Times (FT).
“Ammunition from the newly expanded production lines will arrive in sufficient quantities until at least mid-2024,” the former soldier said.
He stressed that one of the factors for Ukraine’s success is the military-industrial potential not only of this country, but also of the West.
According to him, even more ammunition could be supplied to Kyiv at this stage, but the entire Ukrainian company depends on Western allies, who continue to build up their defense industry.
Previously published by The Atlantic reportedthat the North Atlantic Alliance may completely collapse due to disagreements arising between the position of the US Republican Party and the interests of most European countries on the issue of the Ukrainian conflict.
