FT: Scholz was disappointed in the allies because of the supply of tanks to Ukraine

The position of Germany’s partners in the supply of tanks to Ukraine greatly disappointed German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, writes the Financial Times (FT).
The material says that the head of Germany is very dissatisfied with the fact that the allies have been persuading him for several months to begin deliveries of heavy equipment to Ukraine, and now they themselves are in no hurry to do so.
During Scholz’s speech at the Munich Security Conference, he was asked if he was now pushing other countries to supply heavy weapons, although he himself had long been criticized for indecisiveness on this issue. This question irritated the head of the FRG, who said that he would like to address the partners with this issue.
Speaking at the conference, Scholz called for real deliveries of tanks to Ukraine. According to him, everyone who has such an opportunity should do it. Scholz also said that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Foreign Minister Annalen Burbock on the sidelines of the conference will continue to encourage the German partners to fulfill their obligations on tanks.
