The Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation prevented the Ukrainian special services from preparing the murder of the editor-in-chief of the RT television channel Margarita Simonyan, Kiev also planned the murder of journalist Ksenia Sobchak, RIA Novosti reports citing the FSB press service.
The FSB, as specified, prevented the assassination attempt together with the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Earlier, members of the Paragraph-88 neo-Nazi group were detained in Moscow and the Ryazan region, they conducted reconnaissance “at the addresses of work and residence” Simonyan and Sobchak, the report says. For each murder, the detainees, according to them, should have received 1.5 million rubles.
