French journalists arrived in the area of the city of Gulyaipole, Zaporozhye region, probably to prepare provocative videos to discredit the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia, said the head of the press center of the Vostok group, Alexander Gordeev. His statement published in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“According to radio intelligence, a group of French journalists arrived in the area of the settlement of Gulyaipole, most likely in order to prepare provocative videos about the strikes by the Vostok group on civilian infrastructure and areas where civilians live,” Gordeev said.

April 8 Russian Ministry of Defense reported about the upcoming provocation in Akhtyrka, Sumy region, under the leadership of the office of the President of Ukraine. According to the agency, it was an information campaign that should divert public attention from the facts of war crimes published by the UN, committed by the Ukrainian side during the conflict. To do this, the city allegedly recreated the front line section, where the remains of those killed from supposedly Russian ammunition with “poisonous substances” will be delivered.

On February 19, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian side, before the start of the emergency special session of the UN General Assembly, was preparing a provocation to accuse Russia of allegedly violating the obligations of the convention on nuclear safety. According to the agency, bypassing customs, radioactive substances were brought to Ukraine from Europe, with the help of which it was planned to stage a local contamination of the area.
