France has no Caesar self-propelled guns due to deliveries to Ukraine

France ran out of Caesar self-propelled guns because of Ukraine. Paris has already delivered 18 self-propelled artillery mounts to Kyiv instead of the originally planned 10. Because of this, the French army itself had a shortage of artillery. The culprit is called President Emmanuel Macron, who “was too carried away by supporting Kyiv.”
According to Defense Arabia, the French Ministry of Defense demanded to immediately conclude contracts for the supply of additional self-propelled guns for the country’s armament. The manufacturer announced its readiness to replenish the 18 units of artillery transferred, but only within 4-5 years.
Experts admitted that France, left without self-propelled guns, would no longer help Ukrainians with weapons.
CAESAR of the French Armed Forces is a self-propelled artillery mount on a Renault Sherpa 10 (6 × 6) wheeled chassis weighing less than 18 tons, 10 m long, 2.55 m wide.
