Former Reagan adviser Bandow called Ukraine a dependent
Former special assistant to US President Ronald Reagan, Boog Bandow, in an interview with the 19Fortyfive portal, said that the White House should not let Ukraine into NATO, as this would be a burden on the people of America.
According to him, at the moment neither Europe nor the US wants to "defend" Ukraine and Georgia. At the same time, Western officials lied when they talked about their desire to accept these two states into the North Atlantic alliance.
“Neither Ukraine nor Georgia has ever been vital to the defense of Europe or America. US residents do not support the inclusion of Ukraine in the long list of defense dependents,” Bandow said.
