Former First Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Manilov dies

Manilov was born in the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine in the family of a captain-border guard who participated in the Great Patriotic War. Manilov worked in the apparatus of the USSR Ministry of Defense since 1978.
