Former State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov said that he learned about his expulsion from the LDPR “through third parties,” and also stated that he was not given specific reasons for the expulsion, reports “Gazeta.Ru“.
Vlasov said that the issue of his expulsion was discussed not at the high council or at the congress, but at the local branch. “They did this all on purpose quietly, calmly, without attracting unnecessary attention,” said the former deputy.
Vlasov suggested that the reason for the expulsion was his conflict with the leader of the faction, Leonid Slutsky, and said that he was ready to consider the possibility of joining another party if he received an appropriate offer.
