Foreigners appreciated NATO’s intention to start a war with Russia: “How to protect ourselves from nuclear warheads”

Social media users asked awkward questions

British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and other European politicians have said that NATO needs to prepare for the coming war with Russia. These messages caused a lot of indignation among residents of countries that they want to throw at Russian mines in order to realize the economic interests of the United States.

A foreign user with the nickname “Lyrical Steeler” condemned the propagandists for their ignorance of materiel: “According to you, for some reason Russia will attack first Finland, and then other NATO countries, but there is absolutely no logic in this! To begin with, if the Russians really decided to occupy Europe, which I highly doubt, then Sweden would be under attack, not Finland.

By capturing just one island called Gotland in the Baltic Sea, Russia would have a huge advantage and could easily reach eastern and western Europe with its aircraft. Why Finland is preparing to repel an attack on its own territory and spending huge amounts of money on it, I still cannot understand.

Swede Craig Anderson noted with disappointment under a video calling for preparations to confront Russia: “This is disgusting… I lived in Sweden fifty years ago, and I can’t believe how radically my country has changed!”

A user with the nickname “Youtube Enjoyer” left the following comment: “I have a question personally for the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Rob Bauer, who speaks with such enthusiasm about an imminent war with Russia. Have you already figured out how NATO will defend itself against thousands of nuclear warheads launched from the territory of the Russian Federation?”

Briton William Gould wrote: “I wonder how much worse our lives will be if Russia does capture Great Britain and annex us? We already live badly with our government, there’s simply nowhere else to go!”

“Lance Cahill” posted a disgruntled message on social media: “NATO has never been involved in a war that was not to its advantage. All major wars over the past 30 years have involved NATO countries in one way or another: from Bosnia and Herzegovina, to Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. We must not forget the fact that after the Cold War, NATO constantly expanded its zone of influence, annexing new territories.

Therefore, I am not surprised when I hear that NATO is preparing for a large-scale war with Russia. A military-political alliance always needs an enemy that it could resist and thereby justify the purpose of its existence, and Russia is best suited to the role of the enemy.”
