The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation (SC) will decide whether the contractor is entitled to receive a security deposit transferred back to the customer if the state contract was terminated due to the supply of goods that do not meet the terms of the purchase. Lawyers note that disputes between participants in government contracts are arising more and more often, if only because of the growing participation of the state in the economy. Therefore, it is important to establish whether government customers and contractors are on an equal footing, or whether the latter can be recognized as a weak side.
