For the first time, Armenia deported to Russia a conscript who escaped from the army. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Caution, News”.
It is noted that we are talking about a 39-year-old native of the Rostov region, who was detained on December 7 in Gyumri.
The mobilized man’s wife said that she received a call from unknown people who introduced themselves as “military police officers.” Later, the man himself got in touch and said that he was to be deported to the Russian Federation within a few months.
Today it became known that the man is already in Rostov, he was taken to the Regional Military Police Department for the Southern Military District.
It is clarified that the mobilized person escaped from a hospital in the Zaporozhye region in April of this year. A couple of months later, the man decided to write a confession. The military man was accused of leaving his unit without permission and was sent to a military medical commission. In November, the mobilized man fled the army again, contacted human rights activists and left for Armenia.
