Representatives of the authorities and deputies of the Bryansk region held a two-day military mobilization training, where they learned how to handle weapons and operate special equipment, told Governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz.

Such training camps, according to the head of the region, were held annually before, but today they are held “in an environment close to combat” and in one of the best parts.

“We are all civil servants, and it is important that each of us can stand up for the Motherland. Officers and privates of the reserve need to be in constant readiness to solve the problems of the state’s defense capability,” Bogomaz wrote in his Telegram channel.

During the gatherings, their participants received additional special knowledge and skills that leaders of the regional and municipal levels should have. noted the governor. Classes were held at a military shooting range, where deputies and officials learned to handle different types of weapons, and at the autodrome they were taught to drive special equipment.

In addition, training in communications and tactical medicine was organized at training points. The military showed in practice how to behave in different situations, “made adjustments and marked the best,” said Bogomaz.

The Bryansk region is regularly shelled by the Ukrainian military, and a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. According to Bogomaz, despite the shelling, the military personnel of the Ministry of Defense, employees of the border department of the FSB of Russia and the department of the Russian Guard in the region “with honor and dignity do their duty, protect civilians and the entire territory” of the region.
