Hero of Russia Admiral Alexander Moiseev became the acting commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy. It is assumed that in the near future he may free himself from the prefix “interim”, writes “Fontanka” with reference to sources.

Alexander Moiseev is from Kaliningrad, he spent most of his service with the Northern Fleet. In 2011, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia for successful missile launches from a strategic submarine.
