A direct flight to China on the Chita-Hailar-Beijing route, closed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be resumed from July 5. How informs Ministry of Construction, Roads and Transport of Transbaikalia, planes will fly to Beijing every week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

“Flights from Chita to China will be operated by Air China Limited on Boeing 737-700. The flight time to Hailar will be 1 hour 20 minutes, to Beijing – 4 hours 40 minutes. It is convenient to use the airports of these cities as transit points for further flights,” the Ministry of Transport added.

It is also specified that before the introduction of pandemic restrictions, the Chita-Beijing flight existed for nine years. During this time, about 35 thousand people took advantage of it.
