Fix Price co-founder Khachatryan sold his stake and resigned from the retailer’s board of directors

Co-founder of the Fix Price network (MOEX: FIXP) businessman Artem Khachatryan sold his 35.2% stake and resigned as a member of the board of directors for family reasons, reported Fix Price Group PLC on the corporate information disclosure website. The stake was almost completely (34.2%) bought by the second co-founder of the retailer, Sergei Lomakin, and the remaining 1% was bought by the company’s general director, Dmitry Kirsanov.
According to the company’s reporting, Artem Khachatryan sold his stake (8.5 million shares) to Dmitry Kirsanov for $1.015 billion – $2.94 per share. Sergey Lomakin bought 290.5 million shares at a price of $3.41 per share. Currently, the company has 27.5% of its shares in free float.
On December 28, Fix Price confirmed plans to maintain global depositary receipts (GDRs) on the London Stock Exchange. On November 9, 2023, shareholders approved the re-registration of the company from Cyprus to Kazakhstan. In October, it became known about the company’s plans to change jurisdiction. In February 2022, Fix Price re-registered its business from the British Virgin Islands to Cyprus.
