The curator of the development and production of satellites at Roskosmos, Yuri Urlichich, left his post. This was reported to Vedomosti by two sources in the state corporation. Information about Urlich disappeared from the “management” section on the Roscosmos website. The position of the first deputy general director of the state corporation for the development of the orbital group and promising projects (as Urlichich’s position was called) was taken by Alexander Ivanov, information about this appeared in the same section of the state corporation’s website. Prior to that, Ivanov worked in the military-industrial commission (VPK) under the leadership of the current director general of Roskosmos, Yuri Borisov, then deputy prime minister in charge of the space and defense industry.

Ivanov in 2016–2018 already served as the first deputy general director of Roskosmos, but after Dmitry Rogozin was appointed general director of the corporation, he left for the military-industrial complex.
