Finnish police: Balticconnector damage investigation focuses on ships

The investigation into the damage to the Balticconnector gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia is focusing on some vessels, including the Russian Sevmorput, which is located near the site. The Finnish Central Criminal Police reported this on their website on Tuesday.
“The vessels that were in the area at the time of the incident were identified from open sources,” the report says.
They clarified that attention during the investigation was focused on the vessels Newnew Polar Bear and the Russian Sevmorput, as well as others that were located near the site of the damage to the gas pipeline.
