Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said that a mechanism has been developed to limit the issuance of tourist visas to Russians.
As the Finnish Foreign Minister explained in an interview with MTV3, in practice this will mean that it will be possible to apply for a tourist visa on Monday, and from Tuesday to Friday they will only accept applications for visas for family reasons, study, work and other good reasons.
According to him, this measure can be implemented at the level of national legislation and it will significantly slow down the issuance of tourist visas in Russia.
At the same time, the number of Schengen visas issued by Finland to Russians has already decreased significantly.
