Finland denied claims to Rosatom

The International Dispute Resolution Board decided to refuse to the Finnish authorities to present financial claims to the Russian state corporation Rosatom over the situation with the construction of the Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant. The contract for the construction of this nuclear power plant was terminated by Helsinki this year.
In an interview with Izvestia, the general director of Rosatom explained that after the termination of the contract for the construction of the nuclear power plant, legal proceedings began. As a result, international arbitration, which includes only representatives of Western European countries, refused the Finnish side to file financial claims. In addition, an unequivocal decision was made that this contract was terminated illegitimately.
