FCS transfers to the budget decreased by 13.4% in 2022

The Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia transferred 6.2 trillion rubles to the federal budget in 2022. This is 13.4% less than in 2021, when the budget received 7 trillion 156 billion rubles from the Federal Customs Service.
From messages According to the press service, most of the funds received by the budget from the Federal Customs Service were income from the importation of goods – 3.3 trillion rubles. Budget revenues for the past year, administered by the Federal Customs Service of Russia, from the export of goods amounted to 2.7 trillion rubles, other income – 0.2 trillion rubles.
According to the results of 2022, the volume of benefits granted from customs exemptions amounted to 1 trillion 12 million rubles, of which: for the import of goods – 478 billion rubles, for the export – 534 billion rubles.
Also in FTS reported, that last year the service registered 3.9 million declarations for goods, of which 1.34 million for exports and 2.57 million for imports. Due to the risk management system, the share of customs inspections amounted to 1.38% of the total number of registered declarations (0.34% – export and 1.92% – import).
As clarified Ruslan Davydov, First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service, previously stated that in 2022, Russian imports in physical volume decreased by 16%. According to him, this happened due to a decrease in supplies.
