More than 160 enterprises have become participants in the free economic zone (FEZ) on the territory of new regions of Russia. About this in an interview with the TV channel “Russia 24” told Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin.
“Today there are more than 160 participants. Began to work out the appropriate registration form. Enterprises are registered in accordance with the procedure established by law and begin to go somewhere for restoration, somewhere for the deployment of new industries, somewhere those that worked and are undergoing the re-registration procedure are included,” the minister said.
Fayzullin believes that 160 participants is a small number, and expects that there will be thousands of them. He noted the operational work of all departments, which made it possible to launch the SEZ in the shortest possible time.
Three laws have been passed in Russia aimed at creating free economic zones in the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, as well as Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, which will operate until January 31, 2050. Companies registered in the new regions can become participants in the free economic zone. The required investment volume is set at 30 million rubles, for small businesses 3 million rubles will be needed, for IT companies – 1 million rubles.
