FAS plans to agree on methods for calculating national price indices in 2023

The FAS Russia expects in 2023 to agree at the interdepartmental level on the methods for calculating all national price indices, including prices for oil, oil products, coal and fertilizers. This was reported to Vedomosti by a representative of the service.
To solve this problem, the FAS has developed a procedure for interaction between federal executive authorities (FOIV) and the Bank of Russia in the course of interdepartmental assessment of price indicators (indices). The Interdepartmental Commission will be created on the basis of the FAS Exchange Committee. It will include representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Federal Tax Service and the Central Bank.
