The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has approved maximum maximum tariff levels for services for sending internal written correspondence (cards, letters, parcels) provided by Russian Post. Departmental order published on the legal information portal.
The price for sending a simple postal card will increase to 20 rubles, a registered one – up to 51 rubles. The cost of sending a simple letter weighing up to 20 g will increase to 29 rubles. Sending a letter with a declared value weighing up to 20 g will cost 139 rubles, a simple parcel weighing up to 100 g will cost 48 rubles.
On average, prices will increase by 6.6%, clarifies “RIA News”.
In September, the FAS sent to the government a negative review of the communications industry strategy until 2035 developed by the Ministry of Digital Development. The FAS was not satisfied with the proposal to allow telecom operators to index tariffs to a level “not less than the consumer price index,” and also to transfer part of the operators’ costs for maintaining infrastructure to content providers.
