According to the Ukrainian media, explosions took place in the cities of Dnipro and Zaporozhye. Currently, an air alert has been declared in all regions of Ukraine.
RBC-Ukraine and Suspilna report explosions in the Dnieper and Zaporozhye. UNIAN and Zerkalo Nedelya also report a series of explosions in Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Lvov and Khmelnytsky regions.
In this regard, the authorities announced an air alert, urging residents to stay in shelters.
The Russian Ministry of Defense began to strike at military command and control systems, the military-industrial complex and energy facilities of Ukraine in the fall of 2022. At the same time, the military department emphasizes that strikes are carried out only on military or related facilities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called these strikes a response to the previous terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which occurred on October 8, 2022.
After the second terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge on July 17, the cities of Odessa, Izmail and Nikolaev also suffered similar “retaliatory strikes”, as the Russian Ministry of Defense calls them.
