Explosion in Belgorod damaged 10 apartments

As a result of the explosion in Belgorod, ten apartments and eight cars were damaged. This was announced by the deputy head of the city Vasily Golikov.
According to him, five apartments require large-scale restoration work, five more received minor damage, in particular, glass was broken in them. “In total, we have statistics for today: 10 apartments and 8 cars,” summed up Golikov (quote according to TASS).
It is planned to complete the repair of the damaged apartments in July 2023. The deputy head of the city added that now experts are assessing the technical condition of the house and damage to cars. The expert opinion on the results of the inspection of the apartment building will be ready on April 22, he said.
Earlier it was known about four damaged apartments. As a precaution, it was decided to resettle a three-entrance nine-story building.
On April 20, an explosion occurred in Belgorod, as a result of which a funnel with a radius of 20 m was formed at the intersection of one of the central streets, informed Gladkov. Later in the Ministry of Defense explained explosion by an abnormal gathering of aviation ammunition during the flight of a Su-34 VKS aircraft. There were no casualties as a result of the incident, officials said.
There is a high level of terrorist threat in the region. In addition, from October 19, 2022, a “medium response” mode has been established in the Belgorod Region. This regime operates in seven more regions: Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions.
