Experts propose lower contributions for employers with health programs

The Public Chamber proposed to provide benefits to employers who care about the health of employees. In particular, they can get back part of the funds transferred earlier to the Social Fund if the company implements corporate health programs for employees. In addition, if an employer encourages employees to undergo medical examinations, the amount of deductions for compulsory health insurance and the Social Fund can be reduced by 1 percentage point (p.p.). To do this, at least 90% of the staff must be diagnosed. Such proposals are contained in a letter (available to the editors) prepared by the Public Chamber.

The document is planned to be sent to the government and relevant ministries on Monday, Sergey Rybalchenko, head of the Public Chamber’s commission on demography, protection of the family, children and traditional family values, told Vedomosti.
