Russia will need 1 million specialists in the next five years in order to achieve technological sovereignty, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said on June 16 during the session “Russian labor market: the state of labor potential and mechanisms for its development” at SPIEF-2023. “In order for us to ensure technological sovereignty, we need about a million people in the next five years. These are the most modest estimates,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
