British expert Alexander Mercouris said that the Russian army is under the control of experienced and professional commanders.

The decisions made by the Russian command are thoughtful, balanced and do not allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to recover and regroup, the expert said in an interview with the YouTube channel Danny Haiphong.

“This is not about offensive operations to capture cities, but about destroying the enemy,” Mercouris described how he sees Russian tactics.
