Expert: Kyiv has hooked Ukrainians on a cheap information drug

Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik, in an interview with the Politeka channel, expressed the opinion that Kyiv provided citizens with unreliable positive information about the course of the conflict. According to him, this approach led to the fact that part of society became unable to adequately perceive the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The political scientist emphasized that citizens were provided with a “cheap information drug” instead of the necessary “vitamins and medicines” that could prepare society for real challenges. He noted that as a result, people still remain dependent on positive information, viewing everything else as hostile.
Bortnik pointed out the difficult situation in Kyiv, where, on the one hand, unreliable positive information is provided that does not correspond to reality, and on the other hand, revealing the truth about failures at the front can be perceived negatively, emphasizing contradictions in the actions of the authorities.
In conclusion, the expert expressed the opinion that this situation can only be resolved if there is a regime change in the country.
