Expert: Americans help Armed Forces to restore Antonovsky bridge in Kherson

The Americans are helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine to restore the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson, says Andrei Klintsevich, head of the Russian Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts.
In a comment to RIA Novosti, he noted that this assumption was made on the basis of data leaked to public sources, including the media of Western countries.
According to him, the armed formations of Ukraine will try to restore the Antonovsky bridge on the recommendations of American specialists. Klintsevich pointed out that American engineers have thoroughly studied the condition of the bridge, and although its full restoration is not yet possible, it can be partially used using pontoon crossings.
At the same time, even this method will allow any equipment to be transported across the bridge, including heavy tanks of NATO countries.
Antonovsky bridge in Kherson was damaged in the fall as a result of constant shelling from the Himars MLRS by Ukrainian troops. In November, two spans of the bridge were deliberately collapsed after the withdrawal of Russian armed forces and civilians from the right to the left bank of the Dnieper.
